Sustainable Development
Samrec Vermiculite Zimbabwe (Pvt) Ltd is involved in a number of sustainable development activities in and around the mining area. This is done through efficient use of the scarce natural resources in a manner “that meets the needs of the current generation, without compromising those of the future generation”. The sustainable development initiatives are geared towards creating future positive implications to the surrounding community and employees. The initiatives cover areas such as environmental protection, education, poverty alleviation, and health, among others.
